Michael Smink, DMD
Dr. Michael “Mike” Smink is a Pottsville native who has practiced dentistry in the Pottsville area for the past 34 years. He graduated from Pottsville Area High School, got his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, and his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, Schuylkill County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Smink’s goal as a dentist is developing lasting relationships with his patients by striving to meet their needs and improve their dental health with quality care in a friendly, gentle, and comfortable environment.
Mike has served on the Pottsville City Council, the Pottsville Area School Board, the Pottsville Recreation Committee, the Schuylkill Symphony Board, the Pottsville Youth Soccer Board, and the Princeton Alumni Schools Committee. He’s coached youth basketball and soccer, and was elected to the Pottsville All Sports Hall of Fame and the Allen-Rogowicz Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame.
Mike enjoys the great outdoors through hiking, gardening, and fishing, and is a fan of sports and music of all varieties.
Scott H. Fellows, DMD
Dr. Scott Fellows is a 1984 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, having finished his undergraduate studies at Franklin and Marshall College. After graduating, he joined his father, Bruce, in his dental practice in Pottsville. In 2001, they merged their practice with Dr. Smink to form Fellows and Smink Dental Associates.
Dr. Fellows has been practicing in the area for 33 years and is a member of the ADA, PDA, Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce, and Kiwanis Club of Pottsville. He is an active member of the Schuylkill United Way, serving on the boards and acting as Campaign Chairman and Board President in 2004-2005. He is also a longtime member of Kiwanis and is currently serving as the President of the Pottsville Kiwanis Foundation. In the past, Dr. Fellows served on the Trinity Lutheran Church Council and was president and finance chairman. In addition, he has served on the boards for the Salvation Army and was recently inducted into the Pottsville All Sports Hall of Fame.
As a dentist, Dr. Fellows’ goal is to provide his patients with great dental care and his employees with a nice atmosphere to work.
Dr. Fellows is married to his wife, Niki, and has four children: Scotty, Paige, Alyssa, and Andrew. He also has one grandchild, Teagan. His hobbies include hunting, golfing, and biking.
